Uta's work includes large scale drawings, photos, prints and sculptures made out of found objects, bronze, wood, plaster and glass exploring three dimensional design and sensuality. The series of wire sculptures representing dogs was developed from her experimentation to simplify the artist’s intervention, trusting the spectator’s eye to fill in the voids. These three dimensional drawings in space are the result of intensive observation in order to render the complexity and vivacity of the animal by the simplest means. Uta Tiggesmeier (b.1967 in Germany) lives and works in London. She graduated from Heatherley School of Fine Art, specializing in Figurative. She is represented by >french art studio in the UK.
